The game occurred on Chess.com. I analyzed the PGN on Lichess. No ELO values from Lichess are used.
They have a right to play on in any position, you have a right to play the way you like too, even if it is interpreted as trolling. It's a free world (or so they say). As long as you do not lose on purpose, you are ok.
