True strength of the Beth Harmon Bots

yeah for me i beat beth age 8 easily 

and in the mini-series on netflix she took those pills which is why she was so good

but at age 9 she is learning about the openings and even says so, why i think you are right to think this

Yeah they definitely have to be weaker for sure. Look at my elo, it’s complete trash, now how do you explain the bot not being overrated when i tell you i crushed the 1600 one?  Yeah, it surprised the heck out of me too.  No way i’m 1600, however i definitely wish i was!  Maybe someday lol.  

Same thing happened to me just now and i was trying out a new opening to make it even worse 😂 

And still, a true 1600 rating would be too low for Beth at that age. No 1600 crushes a chess coach (what kind of coach would that be?), and a dozen of his students in a simul a few days later.
