trying to explain the value of connected passed pawns

I have been teaching a friend who only recently learned the moves.  He is progressing nicely and had a game where the opponent sacked a piece for a few pawns

I was trying to explain that the dream would be 2 connected passed pawns.  But, can't seem to find a good game.  Any ideas?

There is a saying that two connected passed pawns on the sixth rank are stronger than a rook. This is true if the other side has nothing but a rook to defend against the pawns (and the defender cannot immediately capture one of the pawns).

Black can't stop one of these two pawns from queening.

/Thank you wikipedia.

well connected passed pawns are nice and all but not normally worth a whole piece.
