Trying to get a DGT board to sync in live chess

Chess.com reports the board is connected. It states to "move pieces to sync board" however nothing happens when I move a piece.

Just some background; I'm a member of beta, the livechess software is enabled and I have the DGT board option selected.

Any other DGT users have a suggestion for what I'm missing in the setup?

Make sure you're playing on Play > Live Chess and not Play > Play

Martin,

Make sure you're playing on Play > Live Chess and not Play > Play

That was totally it!  - Thank you; Just played my first gave as black and won. Quite the thrill to do it on an actual board.

Steps for e-board Play on Chess.com:
1) Download the "LiveChess" software app from the DGT website
2) Become a Beta member on Chess.com
3) Select DGT board option under "Settings-Board" menu option
4) Select the "Play-Live Chess" menu option (opposed to selecting "Play-Play")

Great have the first issue solved. Can someone tell the sequence for 0-0 or 0-0-0. Board is only registering a single rook or king move.

Note: Workaround is to castle onscreen and then update the pieces. This works because the board is just an input device on chess.com and your playing what's onscreen and not what the board position is. Opposed to other sites (e.g., lichess.org) that verify the board and screen are in sync.

Do these DGT boards now support Mac?
Avatar of Hamilton68

Yes, DGT software drivers now support the MAC (macOS Sierra 10.12 - July 2018) according to an article published by DGT.

DGT LiveChess 2 supports many Intel based platforms starting with Microsoft Windows 7, MacOS 10 and Linux distributions such as Debian 8, Ubuntu 16.04 and RedHat Linux 6.

It's not integrated into the Play > Computer section.
