Great point. As I was teaching my 8 year-old nephew, who likes chess, some endgame stuff, his father - my brother - shook his head and said, "I think chess is the most boring game I've ever seen."

I don't know if it would make you feel better if the name was different, but you live in a liberal western democracy. A socially conservative country would be somewhere like Malaysia, where homosexuality can result in whipping and a 20 year prison sentence.
