The main line is the solution, my line looks nearly as strong to me but isn't even mentioned in the analysis. Can someone please tell me what I am missing?

Timothy, I wonder if it is the same tactics solution I thought should be included too until I looked at it and realized it wasn't mate after all. I was so convinced I found something that I was looking for where to post just before I saw my solution actually wasn't checkmate.
