two people have accused me of cheating for high accuracy score.

I’ve bee accused by two different people for cheating because my accuracy is high and it is. Sometimes it’s in the 90’s.
First of all, I study chess like my life depends on it. I’ve put hours into it. I’ll have it on YouTube on the tv, on my phone, two books in front of me, solving tactics and have a chess board on the table all at the same time. It’s all I do when I’m not working and even while I’m working it’s chess.. when I talk to people I zone out and solve chess problems in my head unintentionally, when I’m watching tv with my dad, the people start looking like chess pieces and the tv like a chess board and I snap out of it in pure amazement. It’s all I think about. However I’m no grandmaster, but I’ll study that board and I’ll look what move I can make that’s the best.

Sometimes I have higher accuracies and sometimes it drops to 30’s when I’m trying to be clever. Sometimes it’s high. My blitz are all bad, 360 is terrible and my rapids also vary but mostly bad. My score is over 80% in 10 minutes? 10 MINUTES and they still think I cheat in a 10 MINUTE RAPID GAME?

Does anyone else get accused for cheating even when you’re not and what makes accuracies so high?

I don’t understand how you can possibly cheat in a quick game. It’s 10 minutes and you only need to look at the silly blunders I make, or the risky moves I sometimes make hoping it will work or the only obvious or best move I can make to get myself out of a mess. I’m not worried about being reported. I’m feeling demotivated. My dad gives me crap because chess is all I do and people on chess give me crap accusing me of cheating after all the hours I put in and I play my heart out.

Same here and same. I’ve put hours into it. I have like a couple chess sets out. Watch the queens gambit. Watch chess yters. Do lots of puzzles. So y’a ok how you feel. Anyway keep up the good work

I also used to be rated 2000 and me making quick moves and analysizing things in my quickly so Ik what you mean. I just ignore them and no you can’t cheat on a 10 min game.

Accuracy isn't an indicator that speaks about how fair a person is playing. Its not a parameter in the cheat detection system either.

@anonymous - not officially, but if someone has 10 games in a row at over 99, you’re either a super gm or cheating.

What is accuracy? I’ve always only checked for my blunders and my mistakes, amount of good moves, excellent moves and best moves. And what video? Can you please link it :)

Well yes , thats what . The sample size has to be large. You can suspect someone if they have a 95+ caps consistently throughout 100s of games. But certainly not based on 1 or 2.

Because they are jealous and you are amazing!!

Some people are just good with eyesight, and can spot the best moves. It won't be cheating if someone got 90 in 2 or 3 games.
