You don't that powerful of a computer to be honest. Chess engines aren't tiny but they are only calculating billions of moves for the openings. Sounds like a lot and it is but any good large processing computer would be fine doesn't have to be super expensive. I could be wrong but I know other softwares that run billions of calculations constantly and they have computers that can run them
