Unbelievable number of moves in seconds

I have experienced clocks going up when players are running out of time. Apparently this is NOT possible but I did not have time to do screen shots. Today one of my opponents clock was showing seconds and my opponent was still able to make 5 more moves. On review my opponent apparently had 0.4 left and managed to do 5 moves so that is less than 0.1 per move. If this person can move this quick I want to employ for data entry. I have 200GB fibre optic connection so no lagging like some have suggested before. The chess.com experience is getting less and less fun due to very little action being taken by manipulators of the game.

Lagging can be caused by the many miles between your fiber and the chess.com servers.

That’s a lame answer. I use to complain about this to no avail. It’s because you are playing a bot. I had many games I lost on time as my opponent made 20-30-40 moves in less than a second. That’s not humanly possible and they were all top moves.

JustBeFair the problem is on Chess.com they are just are not prepared to admit it because many paid customers would leave. If someone is completing such fast moves without their clock representing the time it takes to move it is either a vulnerability in the App or a BUG ( probably both )

Sometimes it's laggy but less frequently ts an automatic bot

But honestly it's mostly server lag

Or just glitchy and neither ? It's not always some conspiracy lag like that happens on plenty of servers

When you move a piece when it's not your turn that piece automatically moves when it's your turn

Your opponent premoved a few moves when low on time. He had a forced mate in two for several moves in a row, but missed it due to moving too fast. Nothing fishy in the speed: at least 0.1 seconds came off every move. Premoving uses 0.1 seconds.

How can you premove 5 times in 0.4 seconds when you do NOT know where your opponent is going to move. On analysis I made 2 engine moves ( more by luck than judgement ) the response should have taken longer than seconds. Or are you saying a player of around 1200 can think this quick, even with premoves as an option without assistance?

It's probably cause t was 4.3 secondes I won a couple games on 0.01 seconds before but the lag can be the server not always your computer so just cause you have good connection doesn't mean you don't have lag and yes there are automatic bots but idk why someone would do that in an endgame with no time on the clock it's a very ineffective and it's a normal to premove in an endgame with no time on the clock it's usually in the opening or middle game it's typically very obvious because it's almost every move

His premoves were safe, but missed a faster checkmate. That's how.

I play bullet and there are a number of players who do that repeatedly. I had one opponent today with 0.1 sec left and still managed 2 moves as my clock had 1.5 seconds and I lost. Sometimes my opponent’s clock actually increases, like I have 7 seconds and they have 1.5 seconds but 5 moves later I drop to 1 second and they actually have 2.5 seconds. It’s fairly common (maybe 10% of the bullet games). Maybe some are bots and chess.com claims to correct time lags which I imagine chess.com does not at the start of the game but probably later in the game. The problem is if they do it towards later in the game so the clock is basically useless. Others have super fast mouse and computers (some set-ups are optimal) and I use the IOS app which is supposedly slow for bullet). Chess.com used to punish cheaters but they don’t anymore since they don’t want to anymore due to business (they may lose some profits).

That is, some players have premoves which I can see Nakamura or Alexandra Botez (on her popular social media account) queue up 8-9 moves (which has some risk) in endgames. I do not have that set-up. But some manage to cheat the system and actually gain time perhaps due to time lags coreections.
