this link does not show the chat. what you should do if someone is using improper language though, is to take a screenshot of the incident and send it to help and support (there is a link at the bottom of every page)

If your opponent's abusive remarks makes you leave the website forever, could it not be said that they have achieved their goal of hurting you? Be the better man and grow thicker skin. Do not let psychological pressure get to you, especially if your aggressor is a faceless online player.

No.  You had a temporary disconnect and your clock was wrong.  Then it reconnected and showed the correct time.  Refresh your page if your opponent seems to be taking too much time; you'll often find he already moved, but your computer didn't get the move.  Here's a few articles:
