I would like to play some unrated games which are handicapped. This means both players could use an engine on and off.
It would be helpful to comment with the opponent to 1) note how you made a decision (0%, 50%, or 25% with assistance), 2) reasonings for the move, and 3) any observations or questions regarding the rest of the game.
My intent would be to plan without assistance first, double check simple things like opening prep, then when either side recognizes they screwed up use the assistance to get back to an equal position.
This can be monitored by the winning side who could help out, allow for takebacks (but best I think only one move back), or explain moves. The main reason for this is that I often get 6 point advantages that I blunder away. So, what I would like to do is if my opponent and I miss my blunder, we take back either both moves or their moves. This could go the other way too. I don't see much point in worrying about lost cause positions.
If anyone is interested let me know. I'd like to work on pretty much any e4 line, London System (usually for me as black), King's Indian or Nimzo Indian, and any QGD line (again, usually as black).
