Yeah, you need a mod if you want it locked or deleted. But you can delete any of your own posts, of course. You can also change the thread title, to, say, "PLEASE DELETE THIS THREAD". You can then edit your original post and delete it line by line. It won't let you save the edit, though, if it's completely empty. But can put anything in it, even a single period.
Update: Not quitting chess and want to delete past forum...

I think I had a little fun at your expense, btw, and not just me ("right, kick a bro when he's down"), but it was kind of funny, you must admit. And, of course, a twenty game losing streak... ouch. You need no excuses. Only a jerk wouldn't understand. And I know we're good because you accepted my friend request, thank you. I'm glad you're feeling better.

Yeah, looking back at it all I honestly had a little chuckle myself, thank you friend!!

Tried to click on the support button and it legit does nothing... might be a site bug lol

I've tried to get a mod to delete a thread... so far no luck. So I just deleted all my comments, went to the title page, clicked "edit forum topic", then changed the title to "plz delete" and the original comment to "...".

I've heard others have problems. My experience with it has been great. First of all, it tries to deal with your issue by displaying or referring you to support articles, even sometimes with little videos. Someone did a great job with our dear Chessica, and I'm sure it'll only get better. You can get that as well just by choosing "Search for Help" instead of "Contact Support". If you need to speak with an actual support person, just be persistent... at the very least, you'll eventually be told your message has been passed on and you'll be contacted by email within 3 - 5 days. That happened with me the first time. I got an email a couple of hours later. From that email: "I'm sorry if Chessica seemed to not understand you. We're working hard to make her more helpful." But I had no complaint, and we continued the conversation using the chat support feature. Once a conversation is started, you can rejoin it by clicking the Messages icon, lower right corner. You said nothing happens when you click "Support". I'm sure that won't last. Maybe clear your cache? Anyway, again, it's worked well for me. Keep trying.
Okay so... I stupidly had a 20+ game tilt about a week ago and ranted and raved about how much online chess is bogus... I was at an emotionally high state and am still (sadly) learning how to handle tilt and losses at a player.
I looked into how to get your forums "locked" or deleted off the site and I seen that apparently you have to get a moderator to personally do it? Where can I get in contact with a Mod and if there is one reading this forum, can you please help me?? Thank you and take care!
Sincerely,
Rock
