How to increase your rating about 100 points or so: play without distractions with a nice cup of coffee in your hands after taking a short after work nap.
How to make it go down again: have your wife come in the room and start chattering pointlessly.
I lost a couple of games on time when I was way ahead because of going "yes dear, yes dear". I've never multitasked well, and when I hit 60 I lost any ability to do it at all.
That is all.
Perhaps this was one of those games. You are new enough here that you may not know that you cannot lose a game where your opponent has no mating material.
Your opponent's 52 Rb5 move has the sole point of forcing a stalemate. If you had taken it, you would have a stalemated position. You refused and went ahead with a move that lost on time. I don't know if you did that deliberately or were desperately playing any move to avoid losing on time.
If you find yourself in a similar situation, with no time left, take the stalemate.
At the very end, since you couldn't protect your own h pawn, your one priority should have been going after your opponent's h pawn. Then, even if your time runs out, you assure yourself of a draw.
