When someone's account gets closed, do all their contributions get erased? Urk posted a nice response to a thread I started a while back, and that response is now gone from the thread. Do people get disappeared like they never existed? Gettin' a whiff of old borsch here, if you catch my drift.
You may be able to find it through Google by Googling some keywords in the post, the user name (Urk) and add chess.com at the end .
For instance, you cannot search chess.com for Urk's user page but if you search google for "urk chess.com" the first hit is his user page.

This is why I always follow the forum rules. Urk was a big troll and it's good to see the site doing something about people like him finally.

On the other hand, what happened happened before I was even alive, and 2 decades is a lot of time for most people. It really shouldn't be taken so seriously by either side, unless there's something more recent.
