I really enjoy watching this live telecast on a weekly basis but please, please get rid of this Brother Josh character, he is completely clueless and adds absolutely nothing to the show.

I can sort of see why they might have a novice on.  Last night on one of the games he asked something such as:  "why not move the queen," and the answer was because the bishop would take it, which I spotted before the IM David on the show. Its sort of entertaining having someone asking those sort of questions.

I think without him there it would be harder for a low rated player to follow.  dpruess is great but sometimes it was nice to have Josh ask why certain things were happening, and to slow him down a bit.

As he said on the show, you can't possibly comment on 50 different variations for a chess TV show!  1 or 2 most likely possible variations is fine. 

I love Josh! I'm one of those lower rated players, and when I watch GM analysis, I get lost. I like Josh's questions. It slows Danny down a bit, and he explains one or two concrete aspects of the position that I can really understand well.
