I recently refused a rematch, but it was because the gruenfeld tourney started unexpectedly (I hadn't been paying attention) and I was suddenly hammered with 12 new simultaneous games in addition to the 6 I was already playing. I'm no Kasperov. There could be any number of reasons why you don't get a rematch. Perhaps Americans pick up on your anti American sentiment?!
USA players never rematch
I have a pretty old account and I've come to the conclusion that the players that run faster and more often after winning or losing the first game, are those from USA. I'm surprised cause I thought they represent a brave country, but they all run like they are from the smallest village in the smallest country in the world attacked by the biggest army in the known and unknown universe. I always give a rematch. Always. It's about fair play and respect, and of course a test of courage.
When something like this happens, they don't always run.

Of course you are trolling.
I am considering inviting you to the famous TROLLU - The Chess.com Troll University:

Exactly. That's why (well, part of why) I play it almost exclusively.
Also, it's been 8 comments, and no one is talking about how you're not obligated in any way whatsoever to give or accept a rematch?
Wow... this thread has been silent for 5 hours now. I'm surprised.
That is because I spotted the trolling effort, see post 5 above.
I am very good on spotting trolls, because I am the troll level 12 in TROLLU.
The ones who lose with me barely rematch. And there are a few who lose and lose and lose still keep on challenging until a game comes where they win on time take 12 points and run away.
Tks. TROLLU is a really sucessful university.
Harvard copied the logo of TROLLU.
Check the link below and TROLLU'S logo, then check Harvard's logo. They copied it.
(btw, I made the TROLLU'S logo. I accept your compliment).

Warning: Please do not make sweeping generalizations using stereotypes profiling people by country, nationality, or location. Not ALL USA Players NEVER rematch. That is a false accusation. Do better! - MOD
