Usb Chessboard problem

Wondering if anyone is currently using the Dream Cheeky usb cuircuit board for making their own homemade usb board.I am using the software created by fragilio several years ago.I am having a problem with the board communicating with the chess programs I am working with.Much of the time the wrong piece is moved when I input a move on the usb board.Sometimes the program hangs up on me for a time.Sometimes it works OK.The board input works fine with the game program that comes with the Dream cheeky product.I have been working with Arena,Fritz,Scid,Winboard,and Chessmaster Grand Master.I have gone through the posts in fragilios blog but find nothing where anyone has had problems like I am having.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
