Yes, I do. It's the only chess thing I study.
A database is a tool. If you spend time to try to understand why players choice a line more than other then you will be able to build your own db (by deleting the moves you think are not the best). With your db then, you can use it to avoid to learn by heart the line if you play CC and spend more time working middle game or ending. Or you can train yourself to check if you remember the lines you use to play if you play OTB.
If just playing a move because it is number one in the list, you go nowhere.
