Using Rybka 4

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum to talk about such things, but...!

I just installed Rybka 4 with it's interface and whish to use it for self-training.  I'm told this interface can connect to and be used by many programs and on-line playing.  And I would like to use it thru Chess.com if possible so I have a common interface.  Can I do this, especially for Live games?

For training openings, etc., keeping a private dB of my games here on Chess.com, can anyone who has experiance with this program have any knowledge or info that would be helpful?

Is Bookup a worthwhile program, or can I do pretty much what it does thru Rybka 4 and Chess.com?

Although I'm not a beginner at chess, I haven't played since I left college in '74 as there is NO OTB players here, and on-line when it began was so full of cheaters using their programs to find best moves that I simply quite.  But now that I'm back I'm finding that I almost have to start at the bottom again because I forgot so much.  But Chess.com has already been quite helpful, so I want to leverage as much as I can from its continued use and these other programs.

Any help or advice is greatly appreaciated!
