You mean the reason the machine didn't dispense M&Ms the other day is because it was not a legal move? I thought it was broken!
trust a chess player to introduce some unpublished move. At least it seemed to have been a legal move since you did get your sour cream chips. Nice post though.

Yes! yes! all very funny until you lose a game of chess against a vending machine, that's when chess players resort to vandalism. Mark my words, it will all end in tears and a conviction for criminal damage.
I just went to go buy a bag of chips from the vending machine at work here and suddenly realized that the vending machine options were also chess moves.
I opted for the Sicillian defence, typed in c5 and got a bag of Sour Cream and Green Onion chips.
