It is maybe because other players have set their rating preferences so that you can't see them at the graphic on live chess. If for example someone sets the min oponnent's rating at 1000, you won't be able to see/accept this challenge.
Very long wait times

Either there are very few players online or something is wrong. ICC matches on blitz games within seconds but I have interminable wait times here.
