We use this expression a lot in Spain. It kills me.

Another annoying one is, "To be honest...." - what were you gonna do ?....Lie to me ?

I hate 'un mec' in French, don't ask me why, but if someone uses it, he/she doesn't have to say no more. In Dutch I hate: "Ik had zoiets van..." I had something like... I felt something like... Well, give it another thought if you are not sure!
