vision drill

I’m happy to work on the vision drill if it improves my chess. I have difficulty understanding how it does that. Does anyone have an explanation?

I'd say it helps during analysis when the ,over are written down so you can visualise it better.

Another thing might be that, when your learning, That, say, F6 is a good place for a white knight, (random example, not saying anything about if it's a decent move or not), and, when playing a game, you see an F6 square open, it might help you work out where that square is.

The main reason, I'd say, is to learn notations position better.
