VOTE CHESS GAME ANALYSIS

Avatar of cheater_1

Here is my analysis of what would have happened had this game continued on. You may ask why am I not just playing it out. Well, I'm a man of my word, and I DECLARED that if this game is +1 or -1 by move 40, I would just WALK AWAY. I am walking away. It is a DRAW as you can plainly see.

This analysis was provided to you by an engine vs engine match of RYBKA 2.3 with some "special TWEAKS" of the engine code for black that I choose not to disclose. Now, this was a 2 day analyzation that allowed both sides 2 hours per move. Now, I know you all will say some RIDICULOUS statement that white would have never made THAT move. I really dont care what you say, you just cant dispute the RYBKA.

I have 100% PROVEN BEYOND A SHADOW of a doubt that this game is DRAWN.

Set up another board if you choose to test me again after June 8th.

Good Game, chess.com

That's a cop out.

You've gone down in my estimation.

You don't care, I already know that, so don't bother to respond to tell me that.

Very poor indeed though.

 Also, by your own words

"I DECLARED that if this game is +1 or -1"

If you count the material after your own final position it is Rook and Bishop (5+3=8) versus Bishop and 5 pawns (3+5=8) so the material is EVEN. It is not +1 or -1.

Sorry Marshall Dillon, MY FAULT. I apologize. What I meant to say, and I have said it before correctly, is that if the score is +1 TO -1....anywhere in that range, I would time out.

you quickly went from entertaining to pathetic. shame on you for being a quadruple loser: once for being a chess cheater, once for being a coward, once for being a liar, and once more for losing this game.

if you timeout on this game i will close your account and you or whatever next megalomaniacal self-centered all-talk account you try to open will be closed.

i'm normally a nice guy, but you disgust me.

WIthout a doubt there will be VOLUMES of explanations why white would have moved differently. First off, let me all EDUCATE you about computer programs. At depth 10, a move like Be6 (a fictitious move) may be the game winner with a score of +5. Let the comp think a while longer to depth 17 and Be6 is deemed a poor move and gets replaced with A6 with a score of 2.5. Let your program go for an hour, and all of a sudden the game changes and the score plummets to .80.

If one knows how to adjust the settings of a program (as I do) and not just rely on the "out of the box" settings, then your results are FAR FAR DIFFERENT. With the adjusted settings, the earlier score of +5 for Be6 may now become +1.2. With the adjusted settings, your advantage of +.80 drops to 0.00.

Just ripping open the latest version of Rybka and letting it go to town for 5 hours and hoping to get a strong move is like going out and buying a Chevy Monte Carlo and trying to be competitive at a NASCAR race. I find rewriting and fine tuning programs just as fun, if not more fun, than using them to cheat.

Do your research on a program like Zappa Mexico, written by someone (maybe it's ME) that DEMOLISHED the likes of shredder and fritz and Rybka. https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/acozzie2/www/zappa/

Trust me chess.com, I am standing on a hilltop that is much much MUCH higher thatn you are. My view is CLEAR. You are stuck in the clouds and cannot see too far ahead of yourselves. You see a win for yourselves, but just beyond that big, puffy cloudbank is a DRAW floating around......laughing......

i forgot to mention: i played this game out in a computer/computer grudge match MANY times, and white won more than 75% of the time.

 Well said Erik!

Erik, it's that 25% of games that I WILL PLAY. Those 25% games are draws, and it's what I will do. If white had won 100% games, then I would have resigned out of shame. I'll bet my mother's soul that this game ends in a draw, but i'll take one for the team to remain here.

Seriously though, OUCH! I didnt know you could become such a hateful person. Bullying me in to continuing. NO one likes a bully. Anyway, Erik, I like this site a lot. I get much enjoyment from coming here and hope to continue to do so, so here is MY OFFER TO YOU. Maybe you can take a vote on it and see if the others agree:

I will chalk this game up as a loss and RESIGN to chess.com. I will take the loss. I will state in the forum that I resigned because I was outplayed. NO excuses. What I would like is that if a series of games of varying times could be played. For example, cheater_1 vs chess.com in an ALL DAY match. One VOTE CHESS game played with, say, 4 hours for each side. Then, another game with different, varying time controls. Nothing like 15 minutes per side because that would be impossible in vote chess. 24 hours per move is quite long and boring. Perhaps a best of 7 match...chess.com will be leading 1-0.

I'm offering the olive branch here. I'll resign because I like you so much. I have so far been a quadruple loser: once for being a chess cheater, once for being a coward, once for being a liar, and once more for losing this game...but I have YET to break my word. But, do I have your word that we can continue to play a best of 5 or 7 series? I really find it interesting and like using such a wide variety of people as MY GUINEA PIGS.

I await your response.

I have really enjoyed this match.  Please don't stop it because you believe it is a draw.  It is more fun to play it out to the end.
Avatar of cheater_1

The mirrortwin, you should give lessons to ERIK in politeness. I put the ball in HIS court. I WILL resign if he will grant me a best of 5 or 7 game series of Vote Chess with chess.com with different time controls for interest.

I too enjoy this.

If you can stick to our original word and play a game of chess without trying to change the rules mid-way through the game, then I will consider granting you another game. What you call bullying is my trying to enforce our original agreement without allowing you to magically conjure fake provisions. And hateful? Absolutely. I hate a lack of character, which is what you have displayed over the last few days. If you want me to tolerate you here on Chess.com you're going to have to try and earn back your status as the interesting character and quickly shed the coward/manipulator persona you've developed.

I don't renegotiate in the middle of an agreement. Finish this game and I'll consider what is next.

(P.S. all my engines show white at over +1 at move 40)

Avatar of cheater_1

First off, I'm not here to amuse people. I'm not a comedian and looking for laughs.  It's no use for me to argue with you all, with over 800 people thumbing their nose at me standing behind you. I am being bullied, plain and simple.

Here's how I see, if I time out, I'll be deleted. There are 1 million things in life worse than getting a free account deleted...so it's no big deal.

If I resign, I may or may not get deleted....once again.....no big deal.

I'd like to keep my cheater_1 account, though, if I had the choice.

Up to this very point in time, I have made all my moves within the alloted time and have done NOTHING that you guys havent done EXCEPT push the envelope with my words. Words are who I am. Character is determined by ACTIONS, not words. If I were to time out....THAT'S lack of character. If I were to hack into this site and manipulate the position....that's lack of character.

I can no more change the rules of this game midstream than I can change where I want to put my bishop after I made a move. And that's worth mentioning. Dont forget, I get ONE shot to get it right. Many times have a made a move and hit submit and then cringed because I have a sheet with 3 or 4 moves written on it and thought I looked at the wrong one while I was eating and playing chess and interpreting my program's analysis all at the same time.

I have it much tougher than you guys can even imagine and I have YET to do ANYTHING even remotely wrong. Remember, I havent timed out yet.

So, team chess.com, I will RESIGN this game. Consider it a TKO of cheater_1. You have won, I have lost.

If you deem that my time has come to an end here....so be it.

omg

you use computer programs.it is not a TKO of cheater_1,it is a TKO of Rybka. You use computer programs and then declare yourself undefeated. So,if Rybka is not processing inside your head, why dont we just stop all this discussions and create a game Rybka vs. Chess.com instead of Egoist vs. Chess.com ??????????

Avatar of Niven42

I'm gonna have to side with Cheater_1 on this one...  if you pit two engines against each other, and they play the best game they can, the most likely result is a draw.  Everything I've analyzed from this move on, shows the game moving to equality (with that small .2 or .3  Black advantage slowly evaporating over the next 100 moves or so).  There is no "magic checkmate" coming any time soon, otherwise one of us would have seen it by now.  If someone thinks they can beat him (in a reasonable continuation) from the current position, then provide some analysis or move sequence (and I don't think he's going to make any mistakes, either).

The game is a draw - acknowledge it and decide where we will go from here.

Avatar of Xhu
If it was a draw, he should have continued. Plain and simple. Instead, he chose to resign. That is a loss. There are no two ways about it.
Avatar of erik

Cheater_1 - you made one of two possible good decisions. You could resign now (because the writing is on the wall) or you could have played it out (if you believed there was draw potential). Thank you for not doing something dumb like claiming a draw on your own. You have earned yourself more time on the site.

For those interested, here are two games of Rybka vs. Rybka from this position:
