Hello, friends. I started playing chess about 2 weeks ago, thinking it was going to be a short-lived habit, but now I find myself watching every available GM chess lecture on Youtube, paying for a diamond membership on chess.com, and frankly still wanting more.
My ambition is to become a Grand Master, and I am curious to see if there are any others who have similar delusions of chess grandeur that they are willing to push to achieve.
If there are any other nerds out there like me who want to be legends, but realize that the largest barrier is actual game experience and discussion with like-minded ambitious players, please hit me up. I am absolute gutter tier currently, but am avidly studying openings, mid-game tactics, and pushing through the grind of studying endgames.
I own chessbase15 and fritz as well, which are incredible tools to help analyze positions and plans. I would be more than happy just to discuss particular positions via these tools if that's your flavor.
