MethodMan does do much better as black.  In his last 50 blitz games (25 as white and 25 as black) as white he's scored 44% with a performance rating of ~934.  As black he's scored 72% with a performance of ~1185 which is a fairly amazing 250 point difference.

In a win over a 1700 he used a nice opening trap in the scandinavian I wasn't aware of.  Looking at a few games he can spot some good tactics.  But as his rating might suggest he is also capable of missing tactics.  It may be as white he doesn't know any opening traps (?)

Though how are you defining "High Rated players", are you speaking about online rating? Bullet, Blitz, Standard? 1300+? 1500+? 1700+?

Martz, I'd love to play you and analyze our game(s) together! I've recently tried commenting on my games in live chess, but I get the feeling some people take offense at that if it isn't preplanned. Hopefully our levels are similar. 

I sent you 2 challenges (1 for each color), although I'd rather play live chess. Add me so we can play when we're both on. I usually play 30 min per player, but I'm okay with less if you want.

I don't know, my blitz rating right now on here is around 1600 after a dozen or so games, my online rating with three games played is around 1200. I don't know what "high" rated here is with the different playing conditions... 1700? 1900? Maybe you can tell me.

I've had a good game going with a 2050 player in Online condition. He's winning after I misjudged a key position and idea of his early on which neutralized my developed pieces and gave him a pawn up but I am learning from that game and others. More would be great!
