He didn’t do anything wrong. You should have resigned, but you wanted to play on. If you can play on, he can make queens.
The more queens the better, to play for a stalemate.

That's why I played on in hopes for a stalemate (and also I was taught never to resign). But he checkmated my king with just one (1) queen.
After strongly expressing to my opponent my disagreement for him having promoted 3 queens, he just laughed and laughed at me. But in the end, he apologized.
