if people did not disconnect/resign who knows how low my rating may go.  They do not realize i am slow and do not know how to close out games. Please do not tell them.

 No politics on a chess site is good, but when someone states lies about president Trump, it causes problems.

I always get the message, "Was your opponent a good sport or a Bad sport like Trump?" I always answer the latter.

Haha you are funny troll, the bad sport was Nancy Pelosi and her group trying to impeach President Trump even though he didn't do anything to deserve impeachment trials.

By the way I just realized you are from Australia LOLLL you know nothing about politics happening in the U.S, being quiet about U.S politics is better for you.

Trying to flag you is not being a bad sport.

It’s online chess, who tf goes out of their way to be a “good sport??”

for me;

  • abandoning lost games without resigning
  • doing trash talks to demoralize and distrub you
  • keep sending the same offer to spam you

is being a bad sport.

and again for me;

  • sending or accepting draw offers in dead draw positions + too much time on clocks
  • staying quiet or talking respectfully during the game

is being a good sport.

Other things like trying to flag you when they can, not resigning after blunders etc.. are neutral for me.

The feedback helps keep the bad sports amongst each other.

Ye I agree they all abandon games usually when lost..... Like I said a few of my opponents accounts have already been closed for abuse and fair play. Also the way some opponents play is so weird, when I play them in 15+10 I dont understand why some opponents move instantly without thinking

Again great advice from a very high rated player, I guess there is no such thing as a "good sport" or "bad sport" bud you dont even play like site why use forums learn to play the game first before talking about these sports.

So then are all my opponents in a hurry to finish up their rapid games as fast as humanly possible? Its almost like they premove every move in rapid because they dont wanna think about anything

to me a good person is someone that says hi at the start and gg at the end less than 1% of my opponents do it and i do it every game

Ioannism7980

99.9% he was

Connyank

The only bad sportsmanship I've encountered is some people will waste my time by not making a move or not resigning when they are an absolutely hopeless position. When it's clear I lost the game I resign so we can both move on.

CristianoRonaldosuuu

never resign unless in a tournament you can always get stalemate it is worse to just resign

CristianoRonaldosuuu

just dont try and dirty flag
