Hustlers usually move the pieces like you said, to effectively do it they usually trash talk and try to get your view off the board.
Here is a video of Maurice Ashley in which the Hustler took 2 pieces in one turn lol.
Vinnie Livermore would have spanked him badly.

All discussions about cheating should be done in the Cheating Forum, not in public forums.
Moving a piece, then moving it "almost" back to the same square but some place close to where it was, then moving an entirely different piece.
