Ways to improve for a player like me

I started playing chess around 8 or 9 months ago and recently I've noticed I've seemed to have hit a ceiling where little progress seemed to be made by just playing alone.

So far, I've been doing the daily puzzles, tactics and a few games a day on this website and that's what I've done up to this date. I'd like to start getting deeper into the game, where should I start?

go to your local library and look at some chess books.    Read a few pages of each.   If the author strikes you as someone you can relate to, ie; friendly, appealing, then check out the book(s) and read them.

There are literally tens of thousands of chess books out there.    Try staying with the most basic ones first, ie; a popular older one was Chess Master versus Chess Amateur by former world champion Euwe -- explaining the thought processes of master players.

Before I really improved in chess the biggest flaw in my game was I had little structure to both how I played and also how I studied my game. I've written a few articles in sort of a tutorial stage on what I feel is a good way to improve from the ground up.

I also recommend taking advantage of the subscribed chess.com training tools if nothing else.
