WC viswanathan Anand shares the utmost 3 TIPs to be a CHAMPION

Tip #1 -- Make sure Carlsen withdrawals from the candidates cycle.
Tip #2 -- Make sure your challenger is not among the top 10 players in the world
Tip #3 -- Beat the challenger in a rapid playoff by 1 game.

Actually I like Anand a lot, but I couldn't resist Tongue Out

AndyClifton

I too vow to make a practice of practising.

well translate and then u will come to know that u r SOB.

Tip #1 is not very usefull if Tip# 2 is used. Magnus Carlsen is among top-10 last time I saw the FIDE rating list.

Anand is a great player, but also I like him as a chess player.  I was just making a joke, I wasn't trying to insult Indian chess players.  The things I said were not a lie, and what Tin_Basu said was not appropriate.

AndyClifton

Jeez wafflle, don't wimp out!  I liked it better that time when you started bearing your fangs. Smile

Oh yeah, and google translate informs me that that snippet means:  "Kutte sevenfold, haramkhor..." in "Filipino."  Yep, it's another modern-day hi-tech miracle.

dont matter what issue you creating on grand master its like spit on the moon and fall back on you....you just want to introduce yourself..(in reality).......

I think that is very honest of Mr Anand.

keep practice...makeperfect.....difficult to do..but only this way can we improve chess......:)

How much is study then? By practice...is that just playing, or is it also studying (books, games, etc.).

I always wondered what is a good balance between playing v. studying..

@Tin_Basu

Forget about using another language to sneak in a slur.
Ur not helping this thread in any way ... one could even call this
cowardly.  I understand you are upset that people are taking shots at Anand, but you do
know that we are one big global community of like-minded chess enthusiasts just like
yourself.

So let's keep it clean :)
