Is the World Championship really THE championship? I am relatively new to chess and I see all the rhetoric and it is quite compelling. My question is, does this really prove who is the best player in the world? Are there multiple tournaments throughout the year where top competitors show off their talent? And another question, it seems Magnus is the best, who else should I be watching?
