If it is not a glitch why can't white en passant here?
We need to stop arguing about En passant.

En passant is for pawns, not knights.
It's only for pawns.
That just doesn't make sense.

en passent is a nice rule it is made for that each pawns who are in adjacent files should get at least one chance of encounter(to capture) each other

And @GambitShift, I don't think your two examples is an en passant example because you didn't capture the pawn, you only moved your king/knight/whatever to the square, it's not a en passant.
