We need to stop arguing about En passant.

There are so many people arguing about en passant right now. Most of the people that think that En passant is cheating are trolls. Please stop this trolling its very annoying. Just stop. En passant is a rule, not a "hack", or a "glitch", or whatnot.

GambitShift

If it is not a glitch why can't white en passant here?

ThePowerKitty

En passant is for pawns, not knights.

GambitShift

We could do the same thing with bishops, rooks, and queens.

ThePowerKitty

It's only for pawns.

GambitShift

You could even do it for kings.

ThePowerKitty

That just doesn't make sense.

GambitShift

How about promoted pieces?

en passent is a nice rule it is made for that each pawns who are in adjacent files should get at least one chance of encounter(to capture) each other

Well, if you manage to hack enough to create the pawn hack, surely you can edit the program so that other pieces can exploit the glitch.

@2Ke21-0, STOP!!! You don't want to encourage people to hack the program, right?????

Hacking the program doesn't exactly change the chess rules you know?

How many times do I have to say that ant peasant is not a chess rule?

dennis9989

And @GambitShift, I don't think your two examples is an en passant example because you didn't capture the pawn, you only moved your king/knight/whatever to the square, it's not a en passant.

that's right, ant peasant is not, but en passant is.

En passant is a misspelling of ant peasant.
