You could solve your issue by subbing to gold for a few bucks a month/year and help the site you enjoy.
I was a platinum member for a year. But I don't want to help this site anymore until they take things more seriously

If you go visit someone at their house, and they ask you to take off your shoes, do you or do you pull a Borislav Ivanov on them?
They claim to have more than 20 million members, imagine if each of them, fed up with such "propaganda", would pay for a membership!! It should be considered quite normal to be a free user and they should be satified with the huge earnings they make without afflicting any free member with the ads.

And soon you are going to notice how I am going to close my account if this persecution goes on.
There are better places than chess.com and some are free, please don't be so insistent and focus your resources in closing all those cheaters accounts even if they are called GM something or IM whatever. Leaderboard from daily chess if full, please don't be hypocrite.
