Granted you don't get as much access to features free but you can get a taste of all them for free.

Hello! I advise playing chess. Unless I'm mistaken this website is called chess.com and usually people would type this url in for a chess related website to pop up. In fact a recent survey said that 98% of people that register for chess websites, come to play chess!
Tell that to the ones who post pic albums, they're here for other reasons.

Now 1st step...
Don't make friends with weirdos...lol
2nd step play some live chess to get use to the board...etc.
3rd... don't join just any group. Pick and choose.
