Dear Abhay:  A few tips I would give for commentating are:

- Understand who your target (intended) audience is.  This aspect is most important as you prepare.

- Focus on key moments (of the game), from the perspective of your intended audience, and only go as deep as your audience can digest.  Less than that will be insufficient value for them; more than that will make it potentially burdensome, so people will skip over some of the comments.

- Engage your audience by posing a question (a puzzle, a homework problem, etc.) to them that relates to the piece you're commentating.  That way they'll be able to feel that your work actually made a difference (in teaching them something that they can later apply with success) and they'll be more likely to return for more.

I trust this is helpful to you.  As always, feel free to reach out to me with comments, further questions, etc.
