I was totally winning and wondering why my opponent would not resign when my cat ran over the keyboard and ruined my position.  Now I understand why people won't resign.

     My opponent had a winning position, but he fell asleep and overstepped the time control.  True story.   It was at the National Open in Las Vegas.   Winning like that bothered me terribly...but only for 5 minutes.
