The endgame strategy by Shereshevsky, The Analytical and critical works by Botvinnik, In the search of harmony by Smyslov. But these books probably exist only in Russian language, pity for you.
Chess Fundamentals by Capablanca. A Guide to Chess Endings by Euwe and Hooper. Chess Endings: Essential Knowledge by Yuri Averbakh. Chess Endgame Workbook for Kids by John Nunn. And puzzle books.
This may have been asked before, but I’m curious to hear everyone’s opinions. What are your favorite chess books?
Not just puzzle books either, I’m especially interested in books focused on theory, strategy, positional play, openings, mindset, etc.
