I need a good tactic book..

i got a couple, but i want more, and which one of these are better?

I got -

Polgar - Chess tactics for champions (2006)

Neishadt- Test your tactical abilities (1981)

Seirawan - Winning Chess tactics (2005)

Now which Tactics book do you recommend?

Which 1 do you like? (It does not have to be in the top)

Thanks!

Also if you recommend anymore books for me thats not about tactics that would be appreciated.

The two books by Istvan Pongo.

Also, I should mention 'Chess Exam and Training Guide: Tactics'; Igor Khmelnitsky

This is all tactics puzzles and nothing but tactics puzzles, and it's awesome.

I find "Understanding Chess Tactics" by Martin Weteschnik to be a useful book.

Once you get past the basic tactic themes, its more an issue of practice.  I'd say go online to http://chess.emrald.net/, or chess.com has a tactics server.

As for books, my personal favorites for beginner/intermediate were the Seirawan series...

My System (and Praxis) by Nimzowitch are the classics, and my favorite.

The Art of Attack in Chess by Vukovic is another great one.

Kasparov's My Great Predecessors series is also top notch.

Finally, my favorite openings book was Queen's Gambit Declined by Matthew Sadler, which won book of the year in chess.

What level? and what for?

I will tell you off the top of my head and as quickly as possible.

the orange book, anthology of combinations. A MUST for all developing players but it might be too advanced.

imagination in chess, also a must but for advanced.

should probably get the tomes, of Raetsky that they are based on players,. Spassky Alekhine, etc. Masters of attack.. Aagard is also good. overlooked.

One advantage of the tactics trainers available on the web is that you will receive problem which are roughly at your level.
