I pick the Mongoose. You've got no chance. 
Ahhhh...the mongoose is a deadly foe of the Cobra! The Snake such as a Rattlesnake ......is much faster and strikes with more accuracy!

This guy. I am always seeking the truth of the position. I bring law and order to the 64 squares. mISTAKES are villains that I hunt down and eliminate.

Now the Cary Grant character is a good one. What particular aspect of Mr. Grant?

Sometimes when I play sneaky, invisible chess and spring surprising moves onto my opponent I am like this guy:
gorilla. even when i'm defending, i'm attacking, and i have a strong, tactical attack (gorillas are smart)

Well...this is just for fun....and I see alot of you also have a good sense of humor! Snakes, Mongoose, Shrews, Gorillas....etc! movie stars, comic and fantasy characters. What brought this line of thinkin on for me was reading some older issues of Chess life and noticed that many GM's had described other players as being robotic or inventive and such. Many said karpov was highly technical but his games were lackluster. Others said Kasporov was like a cross between Tal, Capablanca, and Fischer. In other words very daring but precise also. I found it interesting and wondered what some of you thought of your own styles. Thanks for the comments!
