Margarita on the rocks, Bourbon on ice, maybe a Scotch when I play the Scotch.
Actually I am a Canada Dry person myself although a Vernor's is satisfactory.
In addition to the drinks, a three musketeers bar is required.

I used to enjoy some brandy and a pipe, with some Classical music on the stereo. In lieu of the brandy, any good ale or porter worked, as did some George Dickel, Knob Creek, or Martell. In lieu of the pipe, a good cigar worked, as long as my opponent didn't object.
Scotch and a good cigar, for sure.
I'll see your scotch and substitute Vivaldi for a cigar.
Though I believe the cigar probably tastes better than Vivaldi.

If you want to really disgust your opponent, a bucket of fried chicken will do the trick.
Great idea!
Smother some hot fudge on that fried chicken and dessert is taken care of too. A treat for all seasons.
Even better!
Chess goes good with a nice coke or 7up, if not, at least a nice ginger ale, or if you aren't a soda person, chips or a cookie.
