What do I do in the middlegame?

In every position I know to always blunder check for me and my opponent, then I check for weak squares, pawns, pawn structure, places I can put my pieces, least active piece then improving it, pushing pawns to get space and I know to not push to the point that I weaken my position, but then if all of these are already applied to a position, I don’t know what to do which often leads to me just losing because since I don’t know what to do I just move my king back and forth.

Anyone?

I suggest you watch a good speedrun from maybe Naroditsky where he explains what he is doing and WHY he is doing it.

Watch your opponents moves, and try to come up with what their thinking and what they want to do. If you alreadly know what they are going to do then stop it. You can also look for moves that can weaken opponents squares, so an attack can become present. Start moving your pieces forward if your opponent is being passive. Hope this helps!

Perhaps try studying some master games or games from youtubers that use the openings you play.

Here most of my pieces are where I want them to be, but now I don’t know what to do and also I know it was bad to resign there, but I wanted to end my suffering, so don’t talk about it pls.
