You may laugh at me, but actually I still don't understand what "Turn-Based" and "Over the Board" mean in chess.
Anybody can give me some revelation?

Regards and thanks, in advance.

Turn based is what we call the Online or correspondence games as opposed to the real time Live games.

Over the board is played with a real board and pieces and not on a computer.

Turn Based is another name for correspondance chess or "play by mail". This is where the players are neither face to face nor playing live via electronic methods.

Instead, a move is made and then communicated to the other player, who then has an agreed amount of time to respond with their move, typically days or weeks. Originally done using postal services, this can now be done electronically via email or online systems like Chess.com's "Online" system.

Over the Board means playing face to face with another person and physical chess pieces, rather than electronically.
