I just keep on playing.
What do you do in a losing position

The stronger a player is--the more likely he will give up in a losing position.
Strong players know when to resign.

I remind my opponent that droids don't tear people's arms off when they lose, but wookies are known to do that.

OK, actually, it depends how lost. Down by a minor piece isn't really "lost" at my level. Down two pieces with no attack, I'll resign. Otherwise, attack!!! You might blunder into a win.
I will try to find hidden sources of counterplay. If that is not possible, I make threats (i.e., threaten to capture a pawn or a piece) even if doing so is not objectively best; doing so usually makes the game more complicated and gives your opponent the chance to blunder.
Sometimes, positions are so hopeless that even Stockfish can't defend them against me; in those positions, I usually resign. In a rapid game, I usually resign if I'm a piece down (for little to no compensation) in the mid to late endgame (e.g., rook vs rook and knight with pawns on both sides, knight vs bishop and knight with pawns on both sides). (In a blitz game, I keep playing on.)

if you are a pawn or so down is a different psychology from being in a moribund game or a dead lost game.
knowing what to do to create chances when losing is a unique skillset a player develops as they get stronger. Its actually one of the main differences i see between strong club players and experts/low masters. club players's play usually falls apart quicker when things are not going their way, whereas stronger players become more alert in finding potential complications to spoil your win.
here are some Psyc tips
1. if your opponent is winning due to some coming big attack that may objectively be dooming, make sure you defend tenaciously, quite often, big attacks are one mistep away from equality or a loss for the attacker!
2. if your opponent has a "clean" advantage , you may want to play actively while avoiding trades. it is quite common for players that are winning to get complacent and start playing badly thinking their winning advantage will win itself. This is your best opportunity for an upset.
3. understand that in complicated positions, an advantage is only as good as the players ability to "clean" the position through with it. You can be in a jungle where the engine says its -5 in blacks favor, but one thing missed can make that -5 into a 1.5 easily.
4.When things look quite dire, play entirely for traps or time, or whatever moves allow the most possibility of mistakes. You are lost but trying to swindle at that point, so no shame in this kind of play.
5. sometimes, you should just know when your opponent is strong enough or far too ahead for you to make a difference. Just show respect by resigning and save everyone time.

I geef het snel op, als ik teveel materiaal verlies heb of slecht sta, ik heb geen zin om te ergeren aan een rot partij!
If my opponent doesn't have too much time I will move quickly hoping to win on time. Otherwise i resign.

Never give up!!! I have had many losing positions. I decided to press on for a stalemate and accidentally promoted a pawn to a queen and the opposition almost always gives up. Many give up because they know you are losing and consider you a pain in the BUTT.
