This is typical game I play. I let intentionally opponent to get some of my pieces on the opening in order to get his queen out, while leaving other pieces behind. Then I develop my pieces by attacking his queen.

Feedback from 1800+ appreciated.

Is this the same strategy you had in January, when your rating fell to 1548?

Nope, and I was drinking then :)

KirbyCake

basically, hope your opponent is a complete idiot?

well, 99% of the players here are complete idiots, so yeah, keep it up.

This is the reason I think bullet is a waste of time.  Some of these moves are of such low quality that a USCF U1200 could find them with the a solid 20 seconds to look at the position, yet the players in this game are "1900+", thatever that's supposed to me...it surely doesn't mean A-Class quality.

tjepie

it is a very stupid way to play. it only works in bullet chess. in a 5 or more minute game your so called 'style' would be stupid

I think this post is quite good.  It meets al of the requirements:

1. Bad play

2. Drinking

3. Inflated rating/ego

4. Glorifying bullet chess

Your play style is a joke because bullet is a joke plain and simple but if you get your jollies by moving your mouse faster than your opponents then more power to you.

Hey!  I take offense to that comment.  Bullet is a real mans chess game.  Where else can you be 5 pieces down, and win by .1 of a second, and brag about how good you are :-)

The preceeding comment was a joke

The preceeding comment was a joke....... lol I've gotten wins in 30 min games with under a second left multiple times now THATS manly chess. Nice long epic battle with a last second mate. I AM MAN HERE ME ROAR!!!!!!!! lol

Wow, so much negativity about how bullet is not real chess.

Lol, to win the bullet and come to 1800+ you have to play many many many games.

Don't be so jelaous if you can't get into that rang fellas. I don't see any comment from 1800+ bullet player except one guy.

The reason why I don't play live chess, is simply because I get bored, waiting for oponent to see the move I already know.

However, once I get 2000+ in bullet I ll come to your live chess kindgom to ruffle some feathers. Then we'll see.

And for those who say, this momevements are a joke..., come and play me and of course you play completely different tactic(s) on live chess or online. Idiotic comment.

I wonder how many of you can play game like that in less than a min:

Idiotic comment..... dude you have a losing record in blitz and bullet and disregard my bullet blitz ratings rarely play them don't have good enough connection and lose on time. Jealous of you??? Yeah right lol

DeucesGoWild

played only 35 games in blitz and yes if you play better players you will have losing record

Not everyone play weaker players.

And speaking of ratings, since yours in bullet and blitz is less than 1100, I can't take your comment seriously.

Too fast for you I guess.

I_Am_Second

Deuces, its hard to take you serious for several reasons.  But if you enjoy bullet then carry on!  It just doesnt appeal to everyone.

ewq85

Apparently you don't know what bad connection means. Nobody would have good rating if they lose half their clock by losing connection so you can kindly go f### yourself. Peace

vkappag

50% of the time the chess.com app disconnect when I have full bars otherwise Id be 1700 blitz

Oh and I too engage in drunk blitz

First game you got pretty lucky don't you think?

2nd game is better (considering it's 1 minute chess, no I didn't check, but that's what it looks like, I think even 2/0 looks different).

Sure it's not easy, but I don't know if I'd be that proud of it either. What most players lack is the confidence to move nearly instantly for every move. As you've shown you don't need to play really well, but you absolutely have to move very fast.

amilton542

Speed chess is a weak man's game. They're too weak in their positional strategy, so they depend upon dirty chess tactics in order to gain the upper hand within the time-frame.

What they fail to notice is that if you play standard, long-winded,  chess for long enough your strategy and tactics develop at such a rate you would put any speed chess player out of their misery very quickly.

ewq85

I couldn't agree more with you amilton542. I do believe it's possible to play halfway decent in a 5 minute game but 1 minute bullet that the OP is so proud of is an absolute joke.

amilton542

The reason why World Class players are so good at speed chess is because they've played long-winded chess games for so long their strategy and tactics have converged in such a way they can make on-the-spot decisions in any position they're in.
