Both sides miss that white can win material by 7. Bxb7.
Black was in general too eager to trade pieces for no reason.
7. ... Nh6 puts the knight on the side of the board (and of course ignores that white is going to take on b7)
Black fails to castle and allows white to play Qxg7

I can see any no real justification for 11...c6 as white's d5 pawn is weak and any attempt by white to play c4 to strengthen the d5 pawn will give black a good outpost for his knight when it finds it's way to the d4 square, better for black was 11... Nf5 and if 12 Qg4 g6 with possibility of black later playing the knight to the d4 square.
