I just think if I don't beat him, then I'll go into cardiac arrest, so I have more motivation to play well. Of course this hasn't actually happened (yes, I've lost many times), but sometimes I feel like it might (losing makes me really, really,REALLY, REALLY, REALLY ANGRY.)
What do you think of chess?
Yeah, I try to find someone to blame, I'd ususally blame the one closest to me, in this case my mom I can't spit it out so I do it in my mind. Lol.
Chess leaves me feeling confused. I feel like I am repeating my ideas. And unable to find better and new ideas as I once was able to do. I was a more energetic player earlier but now feel a more in a rut.
So I am going back to studying openings to get fresh ideas. I just studied a line in teh Najdorf and realizd the importance of playing a4 as white to stop b5. Something I suspected but never put into practice.
Also I am doing tactics on chesstempo and even though I don't enjoy it I know i must do it to improve on the fly.
Hope I get some ideas.
Chess is fun to play, I feel comfortable playing it, and its fun!
What do you feel when you're playing chess? Or what do you think of it?
