During blitz play the clock is a crucial factor. Yet sometimes both players are in a game that neither wants to end. Critical position for both players, both really like their position ect.

Have a time extension button on top similar to asking for a draw that would have to be accepted by your opponent?

For example in a five minute blitz both accept and another 2 minutes is added.

The old WCN - WorldChessNetwork - used to have a button where you could add 1 minute to your opponent´s time and it was very useful indeed...
