If you go to your “Daily stats/global” you will see this stat. What does this mean?
The Glicko rating system has a measure of rating uncertainty called the rating deviation (RD).
Players with few games in a rating pool have a high RD. That value decreases as more games are played. It can increase with gaps in play.
So a high average would mean there a lot of players that are newer, with fewer games in the pool.
