What does it mean when a forum topic gets "locked?"

I responded to my own satisfaction.

And now I have moved on to nemo.

What I really want to know is what it means when a forum topic gets hijacked.

I have no idea what you mean.

Someone loves arguing for the sake of arguing... clearly disappointed the back-and-forth was over. From my perspective, this is not the forum topic I was expecting to gain a hundred new posts.

And now that Fianchetto1967 has been deleted, we are left with yet another weird looking thread: answers without questions--kind of Zen actually.

The trash thats being spammed on Wiki doesn't need to be dragged over there to disrupt the forums here too.
